I returned from India this year on April 11th. On the first sunny day last week I went to take my bike out for a ride.....and.....to make a story very short......discovered a gas leak in my tank. Getting my bike out to the dealers, Savage Cycles, they offered to replace my gas tank with another till the problem was resolved.
The available Enfield was a dark metallic green.
This has resulted in a fair bit of praise for the bike's 'new look'. I agree that it looks great, and have labelled this temporary incarnation the 'Royal Frankenfield'.
